It could work. There are all kinds of wrestlers in the world and several of them wrestle similar styles. That appears to be the situation again with a rather thrown together pairing.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT: WRESTLING RUMORS: Monday Night Raw Star Written Off TV Due To Legitimate Injury

Over the last few weeks, AEW has presented its Blind Eliminator tag team tournament, featuring random pairings competing together. This included the team of Big Bill and Brian Cage, who advanced to the second round. According to Fightful Select by way of Wrestlingnews.co, the team impressed several people backstage. The two were also said to be happy to work together. There is no word on any plans for the two to team together going forward.

The two did well together. Check out the pair in action together and apart:

Opinion: This is the kind of thing that can come from such a tournament, as you can get something rather good out of it despite no real long term plans. Bill and Cage worked well together and maybe there is some kind of a future for them as a team. It isn’t something that you can just do out of nowhere most of the time, but in this case it worked really well all things considered.

What do you think of the team? How far could they go in AEW? Let us know in the comments below.
