The boys are back. Earlier this week, Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins reunited in one of the best moments WWE has produced all year. They cleared the ring of the Raw Tag Team Champions and were granted an immediate title match, set to take place at the upcoming “Summerslam 2017”. So how did they do?
Tonight at the pay per view, Ambrose and Rollins defeated champions Cesaro and Sheamus to win the titles. The match got a fairly long amount of time and ended when a hammerlock jumping knee to the face knocked Sheamus over to Ambrose for Dirty Deeds. This is Ambrose’s first Tag Team Title and Rollins’ second.
In case you haven’t seen it, here’s the amazing reunion all over again:
Are Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins getting back together?
Opinion: Was there ever any real doubt? Even WWE isn’t slow enough to put these two back together and then not give them the titles as fast as they could. Cesaro and Sheamus were fine as champions but I’m not sure how long anyone really saw them holding the titles. Rollins and Ambrose can go somewhere with the titles and that’s just not something Sheamus and Cesaro were going to be able to do.
What do you think of the new champions? Who do you think takes the titles from them? Let us know in the comments below.
