Idea Woman: Rhea Ripley Pitches Two Interesting Angles With Former Champions

She has a plan. We are in a new world when it comes to women’s wrestling in WWE. The division has grown to sizes not before sustainable and various women have become far bigger stars than ever before. This allows various options to be made available, and now perhaps the biggest star in the division has some ideas for what she wants to do with some of the other women.

SmackDown Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley appeared on the My Love Letter To Wrestling podcast and spoke about future storylines that she wanted to see happen. Ripley said that she wanted to have a massive story and build with Bianca Belair, as she felt there was something special between the two of them. She also wanted to team with Raquel Rodriguez in a televised match. Ripley and Rodriguez have faced each other on live events but never teamed together on any show.

Opinion: Ripley is right in that there is something special with Belair and you can almost pencil that in for some kind of major showdown at WrestleMania someday. On the other hand there is Rodriguez, who makes for an interesting pairing with Ripley based on size alone. You don’t see a combination like that very often and Ripley may be on to a good idea with the pairing.
