Crossover: NXT Star Set To Appear On The Bachelorette

That’s star power. Wrestlers are in a weird place when it comes to being a celebrity, as they are known for being on television but it is almost entirely due to being involved with wrestling. Every so often you will see wrestlers move into something else and it can make for some unique situations. That is the case again as a WWE star will be appearing on a very non-wrestling show.

As announced on the show’s official website, NXT star Kale Dixon, under his real name of Caleb Balgaard, will be appearing on the upcoming season of the Bachelorette. The show’s new season debuts on ABC on June 26 with Dixon as one of twenty five male contestants. Dixon will be the second wrestler to appear on the show after Kenny King appeared in 2017. Dixon made his NXT debut in November 2022.

Opinion: Dixon might not be the biggest star in NXT but this is absolutely the kind of thing that could be used to elevate his status. There is only so much that can be done with someone who hasn’t been around that long and now he might have an opening that few others have. Let Dixon show what he can do, which might have a bigger audience if he gets somewhere on the Bachelorette.
