To The Happy Occasion: More Details On Alexa Bliss' WWE Status Regarding Her Pregnancy

She has plans. There are all kinds of things that can derail a wrestler’s career in the short or long term and some of them are a lot more serious than others. Some of them are even rather happy occasions, such as something taking place in a wrestler’s personal life that keeps them away from the ring. That is the case again, and now we have a rather nice update on the situation.

Earlier this week, Alexa Bliss announced that she was expecting her first child, due this December. In an interview with The Messenger, Bliss said that she was already away from the ring due to work on the Masked Singer and was planning on her in-ring return when she found out she was pregnant. Bliss also revealed that WWE has extended her contract due to her pregnancy and that she expects to return to the gym about a month after she gives birth to start preparing for an in-ring return. There is no word on when that return might take place.

Opinion: That is great to hear and it is awesome that Bliss seems so happy with the whole situation. She is still young enough to have a long career as soon as she is ready to return to the ring, even if that might be a ways off. What matters is that everyone is healthy, as Bliss has a long path ahead of her, though it will all be worth it for her and her family in the end.
