Changes changes. The WWE Saudi Arabian shows have not gone over well with the fans for a long list of reasons. You can take your pick on the issues, ranging from the wrestling not being all that great to the lack of significant moments to the issues with the Saudi Arabian government, but the general consensus is that they have not gone very well. Now a whole new issue seems to be coming up.
The SSE Hydro in Glasgow, Scotland has announced that the Monday Night Raw taping originally scheduled for November 11 has been turned into a non-televised event. While not confirmed, this would seem to be designed to accommodate the Saudi Arabia show originally scheduled for November 1. That date would have seen the show taking place at the same time as a SmackDown Live, meaning the shows would have to be split. At the moment, it is not clear when the November 11 Monday Night Raw will be taped.
Glasgow has had some cool WWE moments before. Check out one of the more awesome things to ever happen there:
Opinion: I understand why WWE has to do the Saudi Arabian shows, but my goodness the issues that these things cause just keep piling up. It’s really not a good look to again put these mostly inconsequential shows over some of the most loyal fans WWE has, but that’s what the power of guaranteed money can do for you. I’m sure WWE will be fine, though these shows are turning into a nightmare for everyone but the company.
