Safe and sound. You never know when you might see an injury in wrestling. It’s one of the most physical sports around and there’s always a chance that something bad could happen. That was the case with one big name last week and another one had what seemed to be a close call. A week has passed since then though and now we have positive updates on both of them.

AJ Styles and Drew McIntyre both wrestled on this week’s Monday Night Raw, meaning they are both medically cleared after injury scares last week. Styles’ was a much more serious threat as he was injured during his WrestleMania 35 match against Randy Orton. McIntyre walked out of last week’s six man main event on SmackDown Live, triggering rumors that he could be injured.

See both at once. Check out the six man tag featuring Styles and McIntyre:

Styles, Reigns & Rollins vs. Lashley, McIntyre & Corbin: Raw, April 15, 2019

Opinion: That’s quite the relief. McIntyre didn’t seem to be hurt in the first place but Styles had mentioned that he was a little banged up. With someone Styles’ age, you never know what kind of long term impact an injury could have so having him back in the ring less than ten days later is a nice breather. Now hopefully neither of them scare us like this again, because both situations could have been much worse.

Which injury would have been a bigger problem? Who is in a better place at the moment? Let us know in the comments below.
