Would you vote for him? The WWE is a rather complex wrestling company with all kinds of things going on at the same time. That isn’t the kind of place that can be run by just anyone as it required the right kind of person to be in charge. Of course Vince McMahon will be the main boss until the day he is gone, but someone has to be in charge just beneath him. With the position suddenly open, a familiar name is putting in his application.

On Thursday, WWE co-Presidents George Barrios and Michelle Wilson both left the company due to what seems likely to be a bad upcoming fourth quarter financial report. That is going to cause a pretty big shakeup in WWE as the two of them have been running a lot of the business side of the company for a long time now. Someone will need to fill in their shoes and one well known name wants in.

Following the news breaking, CM Punk chimed in on Twitter, asking how he could apply for the position. Punk has been critical of WWE in the past, with some of his complaints coming from a time when Barrios and Wilson were in charge, though there is no indication that he has any personal animosity towards either. In addition, Punk also revealed that he will be appearing on WWE Backstage again on February 11, which will mark his fourth appearance on the show.

Punk always has a lot to say. Check out some of his better moments:

Opinion: This is one of those things that is going to be a big deal for a long time to come as these things can really shake up a company. McMahon may be the head of everything, but losing two of the biggest executives the company has is not going to go over well with anyone. Hopefully things settle down a bit but you never can tell with something like this. Or maybe give Punk a shot.
