Former WWE Superstar Gets Engaged

I wish them all the luck in the mundo. Wrestlers are certainly a rare breed as they’re constantly on the road and living a lifestyle that almost no one else would be able to stand. With such an odd way of living, it makes sense when wrestlers get together romantically. That’s the case again as two wrestlers have gotten engaged.

As posted on his Instagram, Lucha Underground star Johnny Mundo (John Hennigan, better known as John Morrison in WWE) has gotten engaged to his girlfriend Taya, who also performs in Lucha Underground. Taya was very briefly under a WWE developmental contract in 2011 but never made any official appearances for the company.

Opinion: Good for them. Mundo has completely turned his career around in Lucha Underground and maybe Taya played a role in that. Wrestling relationships are always up and down but hopefully this one works out for them. If nothing else, it’s nice that they get to work together in the first place.
