That’s one down. Last night on “Monday Night Raw”, it was announced that Roman Reigns will announce his plans for “Summerslam 2017” on the following week’s episode. This opened the door for a host of possible options with fans wondering what Reigns might be announcing for the big show. Now we can check one of those options off the list.

According to “Wrestling Observer Radio” by way of Wrestlinginc.com, the announcement will NOT be a match with John Cena. Which Cena is currently on “Smackdown Live”, there are rumors that he will return to WWE as a free agent, which would allow him to wrestle a “Monday Night Raw” opponent without any major issues.

Opinion: That would have been one of my first guesses and I’m a bit disappointed that it’s not what we’re getting. Reigns vs. Cena would have been a big deal and could have been a major moment for Reigns as he could use some important wins. That being said, it does open the door for some other options, which makes the announcement a bit more interesting.
