More of the same. Last week, Paul Heyman and Brock Lesnar teased a Money in the Bank cash in on either WWE Champion Kofi Kingston or Universal Champion Seth Rollins. This was dropped through when Lesnar found out that he had a year to cash in the contract. Stephanie McMahon was not happy, so instead it was announced that Lesnar would cash in this week. So what happened?
After guaranteeing that Lesnar would cash in the briefcase this week on Monday Night Raw, Lesnar instead said that he would cash in the briefcase on Friday at Super ShowDown. Rollins called out Lesnar but was attacked by Baron Corbin, allowing Lesnar to come to the ring and destroy Rollins. Paul Heyman begged Lesnar to cash in but Lesnar said he would do it Friday before leaving.
It’s like he needs to know the details. Check out Lesnar’s surprise from last week:
Opinion
ong>: I can’t say I’m the slightest bit surprised by this as WWE certainly loves its bait and switches. I’m not sure if they’ll actually change the title on Friday, but you knew they were going to get Lesnar on the show somehow. Hopefully we don’t end up with another absentee champion but it wouldn’t surprise me in the slightest. The booking choice for Monday Night Raw is far from surprising, but that doesn’t make it any less frustrating.
Do you think Lesnar will win the title? Which champion will he cash in on? Let us know in the comments below.
