You can still make adjustments. There are a lot of things being set up for Clash Of Champions and every one of them so far is built around a championship match. That is a nice thing to see as title feuds are as easy of a match to put together as you can have. WWE has set up several matches already but one of them is a little more personal. That match will now get a little bonus.
The main event of Clash Of Champions will see WWE Champion Drew McIntyre defending against Randy Orton. The two of them have been feuding for over a month now, including McIntyre pinning Orton at Summerslam. Since then, they have traded kicks to the head and put one another on the shelf. Now we are going to be seeing something a little different in their rematch.
During this week’s Monday Night Raw, McIntyre challenged Orton to an ambulance match at Clash Of Champions. This came after the two of them have attacked each other over the last several weeks, including both sending the other to the hospital. The match was confirmed later in the night, providing Orton is medically cleared to compete at the pay per view. Should he not be able to wrestle, it is unclear who will face McIntyre in the match.
It was a long way here. Check out how the match was set up:
Opinion: I can’t say I’m surprised by this as it has seemed to be the logical way the entire time so far. The ambulance has been the focal point of the feud and it makes sense to have them fight in a match built around it. That and we have already seen McIntyre pin him clean in a regular match so they had to throw something else in there to keep things interesting.
