That’s just rough. There are some wrestlers who have all the talent in the world but for one reason or another, they might not be able to stay healthy. Maybe it is just pure bad luck or maybe it is something that is going wrong, but for some reason they can’t stay in the ring. That is the case with a current WWE star and now we know a bit more about what she has to deal with next.
Chelsea Green made her full time main roster debut on this week’s SmackDown. Green took part in a fatal four way match for the right to earn a spot on the SmackDown women’s Survivor Series team. During the match, Green went down with a broken wrist, which sent her to the hospital after the show was over. It was a bad situation and now things are a little big worse than expected.
The morning following her injury, Green posted on Twitter that she was heading into surgery to fix her broken wrist. There is no word on how long she will be out of action, though her previous broken wrist kept her out of action for three and a half months. It is not clear if the previous injury will cause the recovery time to be worse this time. Green also mentioned that she is looking forward to being back on SmackDown when she recovers.
Just like the rest of my career, I couldn’t have an easy debut! LOL, that just wouldn’t be fit for my wild journey.
I’m headed into surgery now. I am beyond devastated but so excited to be a part of @WWE team SmackDown, when I get back! ?— CHELSEA GREEN (@ImChelseaGreen) November 14, 2020
Green is good when she is healthy. Check out what she can do:
Opinion: I can’t get my head around how horrible Green’s luck is in this situation. Breaking your wrist in your debut is bad enough but then to do it again the same way in your debut match at the next level is one for the books. I’m not sure what is going to be waiting for Green when she gets back, but at the very least it is a bone injury and not a tendon or muscle, so maybe it is just back to back freak accidents.
What do you think of Green? What do you want her to do when she gets back? Let us know in the comments below.
