That’s a long time. One of the worst things about an injury is waiting to find out about how long someone is going to be out of action. As soon as someone is hurt, it becomes a waiting game to see just when they can get back in the ring. It’s even worse when you have an injury where it isn’t clear just how bad things are. Now we have an update, and the real waiting is on.

Last week on AEW Dynamite, Britt Baker suffered an injury when Nyla Rose was slammed down onto her leg. It was clear that Baker was in bad shape, but the question was just how bad things were. Baker was pulled out of her scheduled Double Or Nothing match with Kris Stadtlander and it was obvious that it would be a long time before she was in the ring again. Now we know when that return will be.

This week on Dynamite, Baker announced that she will be back in the ring at All Out, which takes place on September 5. That would put Baker out for about three and a half months, assuming she is able to wrestle by that date. Baker announced that she had suffered a broken tibia and blamed everyone involved for the injury. There is no word on what Baker will be doing when she gets back or whom she will be facing at the show.

A healthy Baker is quite good. Check out what she can do at full strength:

Opinion: That’s quite the relief as three months may be a long time, but it’s a far cry from almost a year that it could have been with a torn ACL. There is a big difference between a broken bone and a torn ligament so hopefully this winds up being something that is healed up once and for all. Baker is a great talent in the ring and having her miss the summer is bad, but it could be far worse.

What do you think of Baker? Who should she face at All Out? Let us know in the comments below.
