Working off the holiday funk. Last week, “Impact Wrestling” took a much expected hit in the ratings and audience due to the Thanksgiving holiday. That being said, the company didn’t exactly try to fight off the holiday, airing a Thanksgiving special with no storyline advancement. That was the smart move, but how did things bounce back the following week?

According to 411mania.com, this week’s episode of “Impact Wrestling” drew a .06 rating in the 18-49 demographic and 255,000 viewers. These numbers are both up fifty percent over last week’s .04 rating and 169,000 viewers. This week’s show was headlined by Alberto El Patron vs. Johnny Impact.

Here’s how the show wrapped up.

Opinion: That’s much more in line with what the show normally does and there’s little doubt that the previous week was only low due to the holidays. That being said, the numbers for the regular episode weren’t much better as the fans just don’t seem interested in what the promotion has to offer at the moment.

What did you think of this week’s show? Will the numbers keep dropping? Let us know in the comments below.
