There has been a lot of speculation recently that a recently signed NXT superstar may have been released, with rumors getting stronger by the day.

Lio Rush was signed only a few months back, working with The Velveteen Dream. As of this week, Rush has removed all references to WWE from his Twitter account, also changing his location from Orlando to the District of Columbia.

This comes after Rush receiving serious heat from many WWE talents after joking about Emma being released right after the announcement was made. It is of note that he hasn’t been used by the company since late October when he made that tweet.

We can confirm, via PWInsider, that Rush is still signed with the company. This does not mean he isn’t on his way out.

Rush has been tweeting a lot in reference to topics of time and reflection, as evidenced by the tweets below. This may be hinting at an impending release, or for him to get back in the ring.
