Are you sure that’s a good thing? There are very few wrestlers who have had the same kind of up and down roller coaster that Lars Sullivan has been on. He has gone from what seemed to be an unstoppable monster to a sidelined wrestler who is close to being a joke at times. That’s quite the fall and while it seems bad, it turns out that WWE still seems to have a plan for him.

Last year saw Sullivan debut on the main roster, wrestle a small handful of matches, go onto the injured list with a knee injury, get in some very hot water over past homophobic remarks, return to the headlines due to a history in pornographic films and still finish the year on the shelf. It seemed that things couldn’t get any worse, and for once, it doesn’t seem like they have.

According to Fightful Select by way of Ringsidenews.com, WWE had always expected Sullivan to miss a year of ring time due to his knee injury, meaning that he is nowhere near behind schedule for a return. Sullivan last wrestled on the June 10, 2019 edition of Monday Night Raw. There is no time table for his return to the ring, but a one year layoff time, would suggest at least five more months on the shelf.

Sullivan didn’t have much time in the ring but he does have some highlights. Check out some of his WWE moments:

Opinion: In a way I feel sorry for Sullivan, though he brought a lot of his heat onto himself after the things that he said back in the day. That isn’t the kind of thing that you can escape and unfortunately for him, it isn’t going to go away anytime soon. Hopefully things get better for him in some way, because it doesn’t seem like they can really get that much worse.

Can Sullivan still be a star in WWE? When do you think he will be back? Let us know in the comments below.
