Well of course there’s still time. We are less than five days away from the Royal Rumble and that means the namesake matches are in full swing. With so many people being added to the men’s match, there are only so many people left to fill out the rest of the card. That’s not a bad thing as it stacks one of the most important matches of the year, but it doesn’t leave much for the rest of the show. It does leave something though.

One of the brighter spots on Monday Night Raw over the last few weeks has been the rise of several younger wrestlers. There have been a variety of wrestlers who are getting a chance to show what they can do on one of the bigger stages in wrestling and that is a good thing for everyone involved. That means they have had stories to go with their rises, and one of those stories is going to be seeing another chapter at the Royal Rumble.

WWE.com has announced that Humberto Carrillo will challenge Andrade for the United States Title at the Royal Rumble. This comes after Andrade attacked Carrillo in December, including a hammerlock DDT onto the exposed concrete which put Carrillo out of action. Carrillo returned this week on Monday Night Raw to save Rey Mysterio from suffering the same fate.

This was a detailed setup. Check out how we got here and the official announcement:

Opinion: I don’t think this is a surprise, but what is a bit of a surprise is seeing WWE set up a match between two younger wrestlers and giving them a chance to show what they can do on a big stage. That’s something WWE has been lacking in for….well years really and it’s cool to see them doing something about it. I’m not sure how long it’s going to work for, but it’s nice to see some effort.

How do you see the match going? Which of the two has the brighter future? Let us know in the comments below.
