It worked for the time being. There are a lot of teams in WWE today and that is a good thing. With so many people on the roster, it should not be that hard to find two or more people who compliment each other rather well. However, at the same time, WWE has a bad history of not keeping teams together for very long, which is the kind of thing that can cause a variety of issues. Another such issue came up on Monday.

Back in February 2019, WWE reintroduced the Women’s Tag Team Titles for the first time in the better part of thirty years. The women’s division had come a long way since then and could now support a Tag Team Title. Since then, the titles have had a bit of a rocky existence but they are still around and still going strong. The division took a hit on Monday though and isn’t as deep as it was just a day ago.

This week on Monday Night Raw, the new team of Mandy Rose and Dana Brooke defeated Lana and Natalya in a tag match. After the match was over, Natalya told Lana that this wasn’t working and the team was done before walking away. Later in the night, Lana eliminated Natalya from a battle royal to become the new #1 contender to the Raw Women’s Title. Finally, Natalya was drafted to SmackDown, leaving Lana alone on Monday Night Raw.

It was a busy night for the two. Check out how things went for them:

Opinion: I can’t say I’m complaining about this one as the team wasn’t exactly the most interesting in the world. They did their thing for a few months and once they didn’t go anywhere, there wasn’t much of a reason to keep them around. The split lets them go their separate ways, which seems to be the best for everyone. Natalya is great in a supporting role and Lana can talk rather well, but I never quite saw the value in keeping them together.

What do you think of the split? Which has the brighter future? Let us know in the comments below.
