The card keeps growing. We are less than three weeks away from WrestleMania and on Monday afternoon, we received the news that we had been waiting to hear for a long time: the show will indeed be taking place, but it will not be taking place in a stadium as expected. Instead, the show will be taking place at the WWE Performance Center. That means the card still needs to be built though, and now we know something else that will be included.
There have been a lot of feuds and stories going on during the build to WrestleMania and one of the biggest has been the story of Seth Rollins and his army vs. the rest of the roster. Kevin Owens has been the top name fighting back against Rollins and that means things were coming to a head. The finish line was pretty clear and now it has been made official for good.
During this week’s Monday Night Raw, Owens accepted Rollins’ challenge for a match, with Owens getting to select the place and time. Owens picked WrestleMania at the Performance Center, citing his history there while Rollins had told Owens he would never make it. The two of them have fought in several tag matches over the last several months, with their most recent singles match taking place on the November 25 Monday Night Raw.
These two have been going at it for months. Check out some of their buildup:
Opinion: This was one of the matches you had to know was coming and that’s not the worst thing in the world. Owens vs. Rollins has been built up for a long time now and it would make sense to have them finally blow the whole thing off at the biggest show of the year. I’m not sure how the match is going to go, but at the same time it should be an entertaining one and that’s what matters most.
How do you see the match going? Will this be the end for the two of them? Let us know in the comments below.
