WWE too? There are now two major American wrestling promotions with some serious money to spend to bring in top talent. That has not been the case for a very long time now and having that be the new reality allows for a lot more competition to bring in talent. That is the case with one of the top tag teams in wrestling today and we could be in for a bidding war.
According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, LAX’s Santana and Ortiz are rumored to be Chris Jericho’s partners in a six man tag on the debut episode of AEW’s weekly television show. The team has finished up with Impact Wrestling and has been the subject of a bidding war for the last few months. At the moment, there is no word on the team signing anywhere and either company is a possibility.
LAX is still one of the best teams around. Check out one of their best matches from 2018:
Opinion: It’s no surprise that LAX is on the companies’ wish lists as they’re one of the best teams to come around in the last several years. They work incredibly well together and can have a good match against anyone. Putting them against the Young Bucks would be the most obvious move in the world and they could do very well in the AEW tag division. WWE could be a stretch, but their talent is going to get them over anywhere they go.
Where do you think LAX will go? Where should they go? Let us know in the comments below.
