He might have an eye for it. There are a lot of parts that go into running a wrestling company. Near the top of the list is bringing in fresh talent, as the rosters have to be replenished at some point. That can be harder than it seems at times, but the right kind of person can find talent in some surprising places. A top star seems interested in doing just that.

There are very few names currently in WWE that are more successful than AJ Styles. Over the course of his career, Styles has put together one of the most impressive resumes in recent memory, but also has the reputation of being a top star in the ring. There is something about watching him in the ring that almost no one else can accomplish. That talent is always on full display, and now he might be able to use it for something else.

During his latest Twitch stream, Styles was asked about his plans after his in-ring career ended. Styles mentioned that he wanted to continue working for WWE in some capacity, possibly scouting talent. Outside of that, Styles did mention the possibility of wrestling in AEW, saying that he would never say never, but he did not like the idea of the change. If neither WWE or AEW were options, Styles did mention that he would be fine with going to the indies.

Styles has been around for a good while. Check out some of his best WWE work:

Opinion: That’s an interesting way to go as a lot of wrestlers tend to take the producer or trainer route. Styles as a scout could be interesting and it isn’t like there would be a shortage of talent to check out. It helps that he is one of the best going today and perhaps even of all time, so he would come in with the reputation and respect that you need for a role like this.

Would this work for Styles? Who would you like to see him face before retiring? Let us know in the comments below.
