The Hardy Boyz vs. Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson: Raw, July 31, 2017

After the exciting events this week on ‘Raw,’ Matt Hardy tweeted out a teaser for the reported ‘woken’ gimmick he may reportedly be portraying.

The tweet features Matt, his wife Reby and brother Jeff dressed in their old attire whilst Matt was ‘broken’ and Jeff was referred to as ‘Brother Nero.’ While it is unknown exactly how their attire will look or how similar their attitude will be, it seems WWE is moving forward with ‘woken’ Matt Hardy.

It was recently reported that TNA Entertainment (now Global Force Wrestling, Anthem Sports) failed to acquire all four trademarks on Matt and Jeff Hardy that they attempted.

Here is the tweet from Matt:

Wrestling Rumors will keep you up to date on the gimmick in WWE as more information develops.

Editor’s Note:
I don’t mind this. If they can get away with it instead of doing the ‘broken’ gimmick, I am sure they’ll flourish. I haven’t seen anything on any trademarks going through for TNA Entertainment, so all the best to Jeff and Matt Hardy.

What are your thoughts on WWE potentially having Jeff and Matt go by ‘Woken’ instead of ‘Broken’ Hardyz?
