WWE 2K18 WWE2KDev Spotlight Series Episode 3: First Screens!

Seth Rollins and 2K have revealed the first screenshots of the upcoming WWE 2K18 video game via their Twitter and YouTube accounts.

2K Games yesterday confirmed that today would be the release of the first screenshots of the games. Today they have came out, featuring Seth Rollins and John Cena.

Before continuing, we highly recommend you watch the video shown above as it is only a few minutes and showcases the 2K developers explaining the process of creating the models for characters such as Rollins and Cena.

The first screenshot was uploaded and released by Seth Rollins over on his Twitter account. Here it is:

The next picture was also based on WWE 2K18 cover superstar Seth Rollins and released on the 2K Games Twitter account. Here it is:

The final screenshot comes during the video showcased at the top of this article where members of the 2K development team for the game talk about models in game. They showcase Collector’s Edition focus John Cena in a model display without a background. Here it is:

It is now likely that more screenshots and information will become available as we get closer to ‘SummerSlam’ as this is usually the biggest time for news on the yearly games. Some years we’ve had entire roster reveals at an event during ‘SummerSlam’ week and others we’ve had IGN cover approximately 20 roster members per week. We have no word this year on how that will develop, if at all.

WWE 2K18 will be available on October 17 of this year on both Xbox One and PS4 and will be released in the fall on Nintendo Switch. Kurt Angle was revealed as the pre-order bonus. If you would like to pre-order the game, you can do so here. The Collector’s Edition details can be found here and only 30, 000 copies are available so be sure to get your pre-order in fast if that interests you.

Editor’s Note:

I am beyond hyped for the release of this game. I just hoped that by this point we got more than a few simple screenshots. We still don’t know the roster, the full mode or feature details or the soundtrack, even. So much more news should be coming out so I can’t wait to see it.
