Based off a report by ScreenRant, PWInsider have explained that the comedic reboot by The Weinstein Company may see Cena and popular comedian Kevin Hart take the leading roles as Michael Knight and KITT respecitvely.

Cena’s character would be the protagonist formerly played by David Hasselhoff while Hart’s character is the voice of a futuristic super-car.

The idea is to reportedly have the reboot be an action comedy similar to that of 21 and 22 Jump Street. Wrestling Rumors will keep you up to date on if Cena does indeed get this role, though all signs point to yes.
