Apparently, Cesaro walked into Vince McMahon’s office the next day and said, “Challenge Accepted”. Then in 2015, The Swiss Superman had a great Tag Team run and Tag Team Championship run with Tyson Kidd.
Then he stole the show over the summer with a pair of spectacular matches with John Cena on Raw and gaining significant momentum as a face and his star was rising rapidly in WWE before his unfortunate shoulder injury put him on the shelf for six to nine months, which is forcing him to miss much of 2016 and Wrestlemania 32.
In an update of his recovery, The King of Swing underwent shoulder surgery on November 23rd and is doing rehab at the WWE Performance Center and in Birmingham, Alabama. He’s currently working to get back in the ring, but his progress to this point is said to be “progressing very well.”
Cesaro is a superstar to watch in 2016 in WWE. His momentum on WWE programming and his connection with the fans was growing, and his return is going to make a big splash, and many expect him to receive a major push when he returns if the WWE Universe supports him.
