It’s no secret that John Cena is injured. In case you’ve been living under a rock, Cena has suffered a torn rotator cuff that will keep him out of a WWE ring for the next six to nine months. For the first time in his epic career, John Cena will have to sit out Wrestlemania.

Obviously, backstage news on WWE since Cena’s injury is not good. There is great unrest in WWE because the fifteen-time WWE World Champion was set to be a major part of Wrestlemania 32.

The top rumors were for Cena to face Roman Reigns or The Undertaker in Dallas this April. Either way, those plans are thrown out now, and WWE is back to the drawing board.

As far as John Cena’s injury, surgery, and recovery are concerned, not too many details have been uncovered as of this writing. What’s known and what is being reported is that Cena wanted to have the surgery as soon as possible.

The belief of many is John Cena’s injury stemmed from his weight lifting and overextending himself to try to break “personal records”.

It’s being said that he’s been having lingering shoulder issues that have only gotten worse while training. It’s not a coincidence that Cesaro is out for the same injury. There is something wrong with the way these athletes are lifting.

Regardless, Cena is having surgery as soon as possible and we’ll know more after the surgery.
