Undertaker Was Backstage At Raw, But the Deadman Didn't Look Good

The Undertaker made his annual return to WWE on the 900th episode of SmackDown, where he issued a statement that WrestleMania would no longer define his career. We took that to mean he’d be having matches outside of WWE’s biggest event, but it sounds like things haven’t been too hot for the Deadman.

According to a photo received by Wrestling Inc, the Undertaker was backstage at last night’s Raw, and was reportedly moving with a noticeable limp. The photo below shows him in the company of the rarely seen Kevin Dunn. Taker’s family–his wife, Michelle McCool, and children–were ringside at the show.

Before you get too disappointed by Undertaker’s physical state, remember his SmackDown appearance, where he made his iconic entrance without a single sign of slowing down. Undertaker was seen on crutches earlier this year, but that was reportedly the result of a recent surgery, and any number of minor injuries could be causing this particular limp.

The rumors about Undertaker’s upcoming matches have been popularly floating both John Cena and AJ Styles as potential opponents. Given WWE’s desire to fill out the 70,000+ capacity for the arena in January’s Royal Rumble, we expect that they’d hope Undertaker would be ready for an appearance there.
