We’re two weeks away from the Survivor Series, and things are heating up for the showdowns between WWE’s two big brands. This week, both shows hit the northern UK for a stay in Glasgow, Scotland, and the rowdy European crowd rarely disappoints. With the stakes getting raised for November’s PPV, the crowd’s energy will be at a high, and you can expect tonight’s show to make every effort to deliver on that energy.
Both Raw and Smackdown will be on a tape delay, so if you’re of a mind to seek out spoilers, those should be making the rounds relatively soon. In the States, Raw broadcasts as always at 8PM Eastern/7PM Central on the USA Network. If you prefer to wait for the broadcast itself, keeping reading for what to expect.

Two thirds of the Shield reunited last week to take on the Universal Champion Kevin Owens and his best friend, Chris Jericho, and tonight Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns should look to continue the assault. Roman has a title opportunity against Owens in December, but cooler heads will have to prevail for now as some combination of these stars will form the Raw Survivor Series team. Will Seth be the fifth man? He certainly seems like the obvious choice.
The other team lineups, meanwhile, have yet to be decided. Charlotte needs two more to fill out the women’s team alongside Nia Jax and Bayley. Dana Brooke and Sasha Banks seem like the obvious choice, but the latter has a whole lot of storyline issues with Charlotte, and it seems that the former’s stock has fallen significantly in recent weeks. Maybe we’ll see the addition of Alicia Fox? Perhaps Lana’s coming back to in-ring competition? Maybe we’ll even see Summer Rae get a chance to shine?

Yet the field is wide open for the New Day, who’ll have to start picking teams very soon. Enzo & Cass and Cesaro & Sheamus seem like the obvious additions, but otherwise tag team competition seems far stronger on the blue brand. Maybe the Club will finally get another chance to show what they can do. Maybe the Shining Stars will be relevant? (Nah, probably not.)

The Raw roster has another big opportunity, as Dolph Ziggler has put up his Intercontinental Championship in an open challenge to any of his red brand rivals. It doesn’t look like we’ll know for sure who’ll take on the challenge until the night of Survivor Series, but expect to get a sense of potential competitors tonight.
