Roman Reigns challenges Kevin Owens for the Universal Championship at Roadblock: End of the Line. It’s been… decent, depending on how you feel about Roman, but there’s no denying that the feud has been weaker than a World Title battle should be. Sure, Owens and Jericho have been entertaining, but it’s been a pretty by-the-numbers piece of wrestling beef.
That’s on TV, though. On Twitter? Man, these guys are next-level.
It started with Roman making a quick comment about his US Championship match with Chris Jericho on Monday Night, where the Big Dog successfully retained the belt after Owens made a miscalculated attempt to help his friend.

That got Jericho fired up.

But not as fired up as Owens, who took issue more with Roman’s fans than the big dog himself.

Okay, so maybe not the most grammatically excellent tweets, but hey. These folks have their favorite wrestler and they’re willing to support him all the way. I admire that.
Kevin Owens does not.

True to the expectations of the most annoying of internet wrestling fans, Owens is carrying the feud even on Twitter. Here’s hoping their televised battles can generate the same heat as their online ones before they actually meet in the ring.
