Tonight will see some special tapings for WWE’s developmental brand. They’ve just been made even more special with the announcement of an appearance from a former WWE champion.
Finn Balor will be at the tapings tonight. Not just backstage, either, as Triple H himself is promoting the demon’s presence as a live appearance for the local crowd. No word yet on whether he’ll be present on the show as it’s filmed, but given that Seth Rollins recently appeared on NXT it seems that anything’s possible.
Tonight’s tapings are a bit unusual, because they’re taking place outside of the show’s typical home at Full Sail University. Instead, they’ll be filmed in a larger arena at the University of Central Florida.

WWE may be testing the waters to take weekly NXT on tour, but we’ll see how that turns out. NXT fans at home seem to be growing increasingly tired of the Full Sail crowd dominating the show, so the time might be right.
Regardless, the live show tonight promises some big matches, including Kassius Ohno vs. Bobby Roode and Shinsuke Nakamura vs. TJ Perkins. We’ll see these contests on TV some time between now and the Takeover show on WrestleMania weekend.
