In a video published by WWE, Vince McMahon issues an apology for the delayed launch of the WWE Network in the UK. As previously reported, the company halted the launch of the WWE Network in the United Kingdom on Nov. 3, just before it was supposed to become active for those in that region.
After promoting the UK launch of the WWE Network for some time, WWE published an announcement saying that the launch was to be delayed until further notice. In the video, which can only be accessed by a computer with a UK-specific IP address, McMahon claims that the delay is due to a discrepancy in partnerships.
He says,
“We appreciate your patience as we work through the details of the roll-out and potential partnerships. On behalf of WWE, I want to personally apologize for the delayed launch of WWE Network here in the United Kingdom.
There’s no one more important than each and every one of you in the WWE Universe, especially here in the United Kingdom where we shared so many great memories together.
I assure you that we are working day and night to launch WWE Network as quickly as possible and I promise that WWE Network will be well worth your wait. Again, thank you for your understanding.”
There is no time-table for the eventual launch of the network in the United Kingdom. WrestlingRumors.net will keep you updated as to when it will become available.

Sounds like the rumor about Sky Sports slowing down the process was true, eh?
