New advertisements have provided an update on when Brock Lesnar will appear on WWE television. The official website for the Verizon Center in Washington D.C. is now claiming that the current WWE World Heavyweight Champion will be appearing on the Dec. 29 edition of “Monday Night Raw.”
Prior to this advertisement claiming that Lesnar will appear during “RAW” on the last Monday of 2014, the current WWE champion was only scheduled to appear on the Dec. 8 edition of “Monday Night Raw” in Greenville, SC. Not only is the Dec. 8 edition of “RAW” the “go-home” show for “WWE TLC,” it will also feature the 2014 Slammy Awards, and Lesnar is expected to win one, if not many awards during the program.
Rumor has it that Lesnar may defend his WWE World Heavyweight Championship against No. 1 Contender John Cena at “WWE TLC” on Dec. 14. However, he is also expected to retain the title and hold it until WrestleMania 31, where he may defend the gold against Roman Reigns.
Cena is expected to be part of the 2015 Royal Rumble Match, which also may mean the third Cena vs. Lesnar WWE title match may take place at “WWE TLC” instead of the “Royal Rumble” PPV. However, Lesnar is expected to appear on the Dec. 29 edition of “RAW” to build towards a “Royal Rumble” program.
Editor’s Note:
Can’t hurt to have the champion (and Paul Heyman) on TV more, can it?
