Other Possible Matches to be Added to Sunday’s Battleground PPV

According to F4Wonline.com, other possible matches may be added to Sunday’s Battleground PPV via Main Event, Smackdown, and WWE.com. Two of these possible matches are Kofi Kingston vs. Bray Wyatt, and R-Truth vs. Curtis Axel for the Intercontinental Championship.

Both matches were set up during Monday Night Raw on September 30th, as Kingston was approached by the Wyatt Family during the show after he had successfully beaten Fandango. There are no other ties between Kingston and Wyatt other than the promo Wyatt cut on RAW.

R-Truth pinned Intercontinental Champion Curtis Axel on RAW, making him the number one contender for the IC strap. With R-Truth being one of the five baby faces left two weeks ago at the end of RAW, it seems as if he is the baby face IC title contender for sure, as the other four men left in the ring were the number one contenders for every other major and minor WWE title in Daniel Bryan, Dolph Ziggler, and the Usos.
