The Rhodes Family Will Face The Shield at WWE Battleground

The Rhodes family will face the Shield at WWE Battleground on October 6th. The announcement was made on Monday Night Raw when Triple H and Stephanie McMahon brought Cody, Dustin, and Dusty Rhodes out to the ring for a proposition.

The match will be Cody Rhodes and Goldust, with Dusty Rhodes in their corner vs. the Tag Team Champions, Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns of the Shield. If the Rhodes Family win the match, Dusty will stay employed as a WWE Developmental Coach, and Cody and Goldust will receive new WWE contracts. If they lose, Dusty will be fired and all three men will forever be barred from working for the company again.
