AJ Lee vs Brie Bella For the WWE Divas Championship Will Happen at WWE Battleground

AJ Lee vs Brie Bella for the WWE Divas Championship will happen at WWE Battleground on October 6th. The match was added to this Sunday’s PPV card on Monday afternoon, and WWE.com states that Bella is getting her shot at Lee and the Divas Title because she was able to pin the champion during a tag match on a recent episode of Monday Night Raw.

AJ Lee’s infamous “pipe bomb” a few weeks ago on RAW is what started the tension between the two Divas. After Bella successfully turned babyface by joining the rest of her Total Divas cast in taking on Lee, and just a few days after she and Daniel Bryan announced their engagement, Bella has been selected to be the next “Total Diva” to take on Lee for the Divas Championship.
