Many analysts and websites have predicted that Daniel Bryan will walk out of SummerSlam on August 18th as the WWE Champion, but recently released WWE Live Event cards may prove otherwise. On September 22nd, WWE will be hosting a live event in Hidalgo, Texas, and advertised for the show is a big “Champion vs. Champion” match between WWE Champion John Cena and United States Champion Dean Ambrose.

The card is always subject to change, as is noted for every WWE live event, but it should be mentioned that Bryan is being advertised to be facing the man who hold the WWE Championship Money in the Bank contract, Randy Orton. Speculation about Orton cashing in his Money in the Bank briefcase at SummerSlam has been widely discussed, and could be what leads to a feud between Bryan and “The Apex Predator.”

Will Cena leave SummerSlam as WWE Champion? Will Bryan win the title and face Orton as Champion on September 22nd? Watch WWE SummerSlam on August 18th to find out. You can see all of the matches that have been confirmed for the PPV event here: WWE SummerSlam PPV Card
