CM Punk Talks About His Favorite Heels, His Preference in Character, and More

Former WWE Champion CM Punk recently sang “Take Me Out to the Ball Game” during the “Seventh Inning Stretch” of a Chicago Cubs game. Before he took the mic to sing the song however, Punk commented on if he prefers to be a babyface or heel.

PWMania.com is reporting that when someone asked Punk if he’d rather be babyface or heel, Punk said,

“It’s way more fun to be a bad guy, way more fun. I don’t know who I am right now.”

Punk then responded to the question, “…do ten years old children like bad guys,” by saying,

“When I was a 10 year old kid, that’s all I cared about was the bad guy.”

Punk then when on to claim that his favorite heels growing up were Jake “The Snake” Roberts, “Rowdy” Roddy Piper, Ric Flair, and Shawn Michaels.
