Five new playable superstars for “WWE 2K16” have been revealed through a leaked advertisement. Gamestop Italy promoted the new additions to the “WWE 2K16” roster, even though 2K Sports and WWE have yet to comment on the information.

As previously reported, WWE and 2K Sports had originally revealed six competitors for the upcoming video game release, and stated that “WWE 2K16” will feature the largest playable roster of any WWE title before it. The six originally announced stars were WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins, Daniel Bryan, Paige, Finn Bálor, Dean Ambrose, and King Barrett.

Gamestop Italy leaked that Alexa Bliss, The Rock, Triple H, Hulk Hogan, and Andre the Giant will also be playable superstars in the game. With the addition of cover-star “Stone Cold” Steve Austin, 12 playable characters have now been revealed. NXT Women’s Champion Sasha Banks has also teased that she will be in the game, which would make 13 known characters, but only 12 confirmed.

Austin will be a focus in the game, with a story-mode designed around his career in WWE. The game will feature 120 unique superstar models, which is almost double the character models that the previous installment, “WWE 2K15,” had.

“WWE 2K16” will hit stores in the United States on Oct. 27, and internationally on Oct. 30.

Editor’s Note:

I think it’s safe to say that anyone that appears on WWE TV…plus a slew of legends will be featured in this game if there’s going to be 120 characters.
