Dolph Ziggler’s “Money In The Bank” contract cash-in, that took place the night after WrestleMania 29 on Raw, was apparently planned out for weeks. PWInsider.com is reporting that several weeks prior to WrestleMania, WWE officials and Ziggler agreed to use the “cash-in moment” during the Raw broadcast following the biggest PPV of the year. Officials wanted the post-Mania Raw to be considered a big deal, so they sat on Dolph Ziggler’s cash in at Mania in order for the moment to instead take place on the WWE’s flagship program.

Ziggler had been on an unimpressive losing streak on WWE television leading up to WrestleMania weekend, which was planned by officials as well. Their hopes are to use talents that previously defeated Ziggler as “title chasers,” saying that they’ve beaten Ziggler before he was champion and they should be given title shots. It is unsure who Ziggler will be feuding with first for the World Heavyweight Championship, but with loses to Daniel Bryan, Alberto Del Rio, Kane, Randy Orton, Sheamus, and Ryback all in 2013, there are quite a few superstars that could be going after the “Show Off” and his new title.
