An online campaign dubbed the ‘Fandango Revolution’ has gained national media attention after it started on social media websites.

The campaign is based around getting Fandango’s entrance theme to enter the UK charts,  after it became the anthem of the raucous crowd in New Jersey this past Monday night. Since then, fans have been purchasing the track and the theme has rocketed from 177 in the UK iTunes chart to it’s current position of 22. The campaign appears to have been started by the people behind the popular ‘Wrestling Memes’ Facebook and Twitter pages, with fans using the hashtag #FandangoRevolution on the social media site.

The Sun, one of the UK’s biggest selling national newspapers have picked up on the campaign, encouraging it’s readers to back the campaign.
