A new report from PWInsider.com claims that Daniel Bryan vs. Batista was on the original script for the May 5 edition of “Monday Night Raw.”

As we previously reported, WWE initially wanted to go forward with a program between Batista and Bryan, however Batista refused, leaving the company to continue on with Kane vs. Bryan. This also forced WWE Creative to change the match set up for “Monday Night Raw.”

Instead of Batista, Bryan faced Alberto Del Rio. Following the match, Bryan and wife Brie would wind up being psychologically attacked by Kane, then physically assaulted by “The Devil’s Favorite Demon.” The result of these actions, among whatever else happens over the next few weeks, may lead to a “Buried Alive” match at WWE “Payback” on June 1 between Bryan and Kane.

Editor’s Note:
Batista = perfect crybaby heel. #Work.
