This Sunday at the WWE “Extreme Rules” special event, Jack Swagger, Rob Van Dam and Cesaro will compete in a Triple Threat match. According to F4Wonline.com, the match may be contested under elimination rules on May 4.

This means the bout would not end after the first pinfall or submission, but continue until there is a sole-survivor. Cesaro will have Paul Heyman in his corner, and Swagger will have manager Zeb Colter in his. Rob Van Dam, who was accompanied by Ricardo Rodriguez prior to his last departure from the company, is expected to enter the ring alone.

The stipulation is merely a rumor at this point, as there has been no official stipulation added to the match on the official WWE “Extreme Rules” card. WWE “Extreme Rules” will take place at the Izod Center in East Rutherford, NJ, on May 4.

Editor’s Note

It’s not exactly an “Extreme” stipulation, but for a pay-per-view built on a reputation of always have cards stacked with specialty matches, I suppose this will have to do.
