7/5 Smackdown *Spoilers*

This week’s episode of WWE Smackdown was taped at the Landon Arena in Topeka, Kansas. The show will air in the US on Friday.

– CM Punk opens up the show with a promo. Punk talks about winning the WWE Title Money in the Bank match twice before, then talks about his beef Brock Lesnar. *World Heavyweight Champion* Alberto Del Rio comes out and says he wants Punk off his show. Punk rips into Del Rio and the fans start chanting “USA.” Teddy Long then makes his way to the ring and puts Punk and Del Rio in the show’s main event.

– Punk and Paul Heyman are shown talking backstage. Heyman in uncertain that Punk can handle Del Rio, then says he wants to be in Punk’s corner at Money In The Bank, but Punk says no.

(1) The Usos def. Team Rhodes Scholars. Prior to the match, Damien Sandow cuts a classic heel promo.  After the match, The Shield appear on the Titantron and promise to “deliver justice” to The Usos at the Money In The Bank PPV.

(2) Alicia Fox def. Kaitlyn. Fox gets the victory after a distraction from AJ Lee causes Kaitlyn to lose focus.

– A video promo for the Wyatt Family’s debut next week on Raw airs.

– Kaitlyn chases away AJ Lee backstage. The Bella Twins then taunt her, followed by further bullying by Big E Langston.

(3) Randy Orton def. Christian. Orton gets the W with the RKO.

– Teddy Long and Paul Heyman are shown talking backstage. Heyman says that he will be on commentary for the show’s main event.

(4) Dolph Ziggler def. Drew McIntyre. Ziggler cuts a promo before the match then escapes a 3MB attack after the match is over.

(5) Fandango def. Justin Gabriel.

– Zeb Colter, Jack Swagger, and Antonio Cesaro cut a promo.

(6) Alberto Del Rio vs CM Punk ends via Double Count-Out. Heyman was attacked by Del Rio. Punk went to make the save and took Del Rio into the crowd for the double count-out. They both fight back and forth until they wind up back in the ring, where Punk hits a GTS to end the show.
