WrestlingRumors.net previously broke the news about a recent WWE Wellness Program violation, but had no details about the case. Now, rumors are circulating about Ricardo Rodriguez’s suspension, especially in regards to what he did to violate the company’s wellness policy.

Many different media and news outlets are reporting that Rodriguez has been taking fat burners, and this is what violated the policy. Leva Bates, who is an independent wrestler and friend of Rodriguez, reportedly made a comment this morning about fat burners being the cause of his suspension, but that post was then quickly deleted.

JD Maverick, another independent wrestling talent, also made reference to the alleged reasoning behind Rodriguez’s suspension on Facebook, saying, “So weird that some WWE Superstars get arrested for DUI’s, pot, and other illegal activity AND don’t get suspended…yet fat burners from GNC get you 30 days? GTFO.

There has yet to be an official statement from Rodriguez or the WWE about what the actual wellness policy violation was and may never be. All that is for sure is that Ricardo Rodriguez has been suspended for his first violation as of Tuesday, July 2nd.
