There’s no doubt that the advancement of women’s wrestling has been one of the major storylines of 2016, and one of the main forces behind this revolution has been Sasha Banks.

“The Boss” took to Tumblr recently and commented on a fan who felt that the program between her and Charlotte Flair was way too long. The original post was as follows:

The Internet in 2016
-zomg please give the
Women a chance. Let them be on tv everyweek and have the same program and amount of time
like the guys
-Two weeks into a program- zomg give other women a chance I’m so tired of seeing the same program
? so sick of hearing the same BS!

There’s kinda a difference between 2 weeks and 7 months. No offense

Banks responded with a simple statement:

Your not happy that they actually invested into a 7 month program? Where before we couldn’t even get a storyline for two weeks straight? Goodbye

Flair and Banks were involved in a feud for the “Raw” Women’s Championship during most of 2016. During that time, they had 7 matches for the title, with a total of 6 title changes between the two.
