In what might be one of the most bizarre stories of the week, a new report by the Associated Press confirms that WWE superstar Big Show, is in fact, alive.

According to the report, a blog post under the name “WWE,” claimed that Big Show had died in a car accident on December 10. However, a spokesperson for WWE says this report is completely fabricated, and that the “world’s largest athlete” is alive and well.

In fact, a tweet sent out from Big Show’s official Twitter account on Monday, shows him training in the gym as well as calling out Shaq for a match at WrestleMania 33:

It has been rumored that Big Show will be facing Shaq at this year’s WrestleMania. Whether that will happen or not, remains to be seen.

Big Show was last seen on WWE programming a few weeks ago, when he made his return to “Monday Night Raw.”

Editor’s Note:

This is further proof that you must always look for reliable sources before believing what you read on the internet. That should seem obvious to most people, but you just never know.
