Why Did The Rock Oversell The Stone Cold Stunner?

One of the most entertaining moments of the “Attitude Era” always happened whenever The Rock would dramatically feel the effects of “Stone Cold” Steve Austin’s Stunner. This move always seemed to effect “The Great One” more than anyone else, but why was this the case?

The Rock addressed this on Twitter recently, and explained his reasoning behind “overselling” the move. Apparently himself and Austin would bet cases of beer on how crazy Rocky could get in his theatrics:

The Rock has had a very busy summer, which included starring in a new short film for Apple, in which he depicts a day in his life, using Siri. He also recently addressed rumors that he was running for President of the United States.

I fondly remember getting very excited and laughing my butt off whenever these two were in the same ring. No one could sell the Stunner like The Rock, and it always made for hilarious television whenever he did! This feud will go down as one of the greatest of all time, and provided the WWE Universe with many classic moments.
