There was one small problem with the debut, however: it didn’t happen.
Instead of getting a real return, WWE aired this vignette, stating that the premiere of Emmalina was “coming soon:”

Emma took to twitter to give an explanation as to why she didn’t debut on tonight’s episode of “Monday Night Raw:”

Emma was last seen on WWE programming on the May 9 episode of “Raw,” when she attacked Becky Lynch backstage with her tag team partner from NXT, Dana Brooke. She has since been out of action, due to a back injury that required her to have surgery.
Editor’s Note:
Personally, I thought this was brilliant. I love it when the WWE Universe is trolled; it makes the forthcoming debut seem that much bigger. We all know what Emma can do in the ring when properly allowed to play her heel character to its fullest capacity; I just hope that this debut isn’t so built up that it ends up being a giant disappointment.
