According to a new report from Wrestling Inc., former WWE superstar Summer Rae will be making her return to a wrestling ring in Melbourne, Australia on Friday, May 25. She will be facing another former WWE superstar, Ivelisse, in the second half of the first round of the BCW Women’s Championship Tournament.
Summer Rae has been out of action since August 2016, when she was sidelined with neck and back injuries. You can see a clip of one of her last matches with the company below:

Although being cleared by WWE in May 2017, she was never used in another major storyline. She was subsequently released by the company on October 29 of that year.

Good for her! I always had faith in her as a wrestling talent, and was sad that she didn’t get more of an opportunity with WWE. Hopefully she will find success in this new venture in her professional career!
